As of November 27, 2018 the Postal Union workers were in no legal position to strike anymore, ending the strike for the time being. That being said, we’re happy to say that we will be able to process and deliver your December 2018 and January 2019 Monthly Club subscriptions normally!
Unfortunately, Canada Post is reporting that there are delays of up to several weeks for parcels arriving from other countries into Canada, but the delays should diminish gradually through December and into the new year. However, it is reported that it may be March before Canada Post begins meeting their normal delivery standards. International items (i.e. your Monthly Subscriptions) will require screening by the Canada Border Services Agency. Canada Post is working in partnership with them to manage the significant existing backlog.

Dear Canadian Pura Vida Bracelet Customers,
We recently received a letter from our world wide shipping partner in regards to the current strike between Canada Post and its largest union, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. Our shipping partner has notified us that this strike could lead to service disruptions for all deliveries by Canada Post into January 2019.
All orders that were ordered and processed prior to November 15, 2018 will be delivered as promised as other methods of shipping have already been applied to these orders by our shipping partner.
Orders processed after November 15, 2018 will be held at a USPS processing facility until the strike has been resolved. At that point, your orders will be sent out for delivery.
Due to the severity of the strike and the unknown time-frame in which it will be resolved, Pura Vida Bracelets has decided to stop all sales to Canada indefinitely until this situation has been resolved. This is not an ideal situation for any of us, especially with some of the biggest shopping holidays right around the corner, but we did not make this decision lightly.
