What is the Shore Club?

The Shore Club is Pura Vida’s *exclusive* rewards program that’ll give you ALL the good vibes. Earn Sand Dollars to cash in for free products or discounts on your next order!

How do I earn Sand Dollars (points)?

When you join the Shore Club, you earn Sand Dollars when you purchase eligible products. The points you earn are based on your current membership tier:

  1. #PVInsider members earn 1 Sand Dollar for every USD$1.00 spent on a  Qualifying Purchase.
  2. #PVVIP members earn 1.5 Sand Dollars for every USD$1.00 spent on a Qualifying Purchase.
  3. #PVA-Lister members earn 2 Sand Dollars for every USD$1.00 spent on a Qualifying Purchase.

A few more things to note:

  • The number of Sand Dollars earned from a Qualifying Purchase is calculated based on the subtotal after all discounts have been applied.  
  • You don’t earn any Sand Dollars for dollars spent on applicable taxes, shipping or handling. 
  • When products are returned for a refund to the original payment method, Sand Dollars will be deducted from your account for the amount of the return, net of taxes, shipping and handling.  

 

What can I redeem Sand Dollars for?

You can redeem Sand Dollars for eligible products and/or discounts on your next order! Offers include:

Redeeming Products:

  • 25 Sand Dollars = 1 eligible “Original” bracelet
  • 50 Sand Dollars = 1 eligible “braided” bracelet
  • 75 Sand Dollars = 1 eligible “charm” bracelet
  • 100 Sand Dollars = 1 eligible “jewelry” item.  

Redeeming Discounts

  • 50 Sand Dollars = USD$10.00 off
  • 100 Sand Dollars = USD$20.00 off 
  • 150 Sand Dollars = USD$30.00 off 
  • 200 Sand Dollars = USD$40.00 off

 

Who can be a part of the Shore Club?

Only customers from the United States can join the Shore Club at the moment. But don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about the rest of you! Be on the lookout for an international Shore Club in the future.

 

What are the Shore Club Membership Tiers?

The Shore Club has 3 membership tiers:  

The #PVInsider Tier: By creating an account through our website, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the #PVInsider membership tier.  In addition to earning Sand Dollars, you’ll qualify for a 20% discount off of your next Qualifying Purchase (defined above).     

The #PVIP Tier: By spending between USD $50.00 and USD $149.00 on Qualifying Purchases, you’ll be enrolled in the #PVIP membership tier.  In addition to earning Sand Dollars, you’ll qualify for a 30% discount off of your next Qualifying Purchase, plus exclusive promotions, and early access to certain sales and promotions.     

The #PVA-Lister Tier: By spending USD $150.00 or more on Qualifying Purchases, you’ll be enrolled in the #PVA-Lister membership tier.  In addition to earning Sand Dollars, you’ll qualify for a 40% discount off of your next Qualifying Purchase, plus exclusive promotions, early access to certain sales and promotions, and free shipping on all orders.     

 

Do my Sand Dollars ever go away? 

Your membership tier is determined by the amount you spend on Qualifying Purchases within a rolling 12-month period. 

For example, if you spend $150 on Qualifying Purchases, you will be enrolled as a #PVA-Lister for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase. You must spend at least an additional USD $150.00 during that 12-month period of being a #PVA-LISTER to remain in that tier. If you spend less than USD $150.00, your membership tier will automatically be changed to the correct tier based on the amount you spent on Qualifying Products in that period. 

Just a heads up, Sand Dollars will automatically expire 12 months from the date they are earned or if the Program is terminated, whichever is earlier.  It’s your responsibility to monitor your account and Sand Dollar status. Please note that redeeming your Sand Dollars doesn’t qualify as a "purchase" for the purpose of this determination. 

 

What items are eligible to earn Sand Dollars? 

“Eligible Products” include regular priced merchandise purchased directly by an individual consumer from our website. 

 Eligible Products don’t include:

  • Fundraising products
  • Custom bracelets or products
  • Engraved bracelets or products
  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Promotions (e.g. giveaways, holiday sales, etc.). 

Also, no Sand Dollars are earned for the bulk purchase of products, products purchased by or for any organization or entity (i.e. fundraising events, corporate or business accounts, retail or wholesale accounts, etc.), or products purchased via a monthly subscription. 

 

Can I earn Sand Dollars without purchasing anything?

Yes! We offer a ton of different opportunities to earn Sand Dollars! (yay!)

Here’s are just a few different ways you can earn them:

  • Creating an account = 15 Sand Dollars
  • Birthday bonus = 25 Sand Dollars
  • Purchasing an annual (12 month) subscription = 125 Sand Dollars 
  • Signing up for SMS notifications = 10 Sand Dollars 
  • Signing up for our newsletter = 10 Sand Dollars
  • Following us on Instagram = 5 Sand Dollars

 

What about my old Pura Vida Points?

If you have earned any rewards points prior to October 8, 2019, these rewards points will automatically expire on December 31, 2019, at 11:59 PM PST, unless you contact customer service and request that we convert your rewards points to Sand Dollars.  All such rewards points will be converted at a ratio of 1 Sand Dollar for every 10 rewards points earned prior to October 8, 2019. To convert your old rewards points into Sand Dollars, you must make this request on or before December 31, 2019, by speaking with a customer service representative at (858) 232-4945 Monday-Friday, 6 am-6 pm PST or emailing us at info@puravidabracelets.com.

 

Can I transfer my Sand Dollars or send them to a friend/family member? 

Unfortunately, the Shore Club program doesn’t currently offer this option. All the points you earn are just for you -- enjoy! :)
